SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, AUTOMATION & SEO SERVICES
SOUTH AFRICAN SOFTWARE, AUTOMATION & SEO CONSULTANCY
Software, automation and SEO built around real business goals
AUTOSCRIPTX develops custom business systems, automates and connects workflows, and improves the technical structure and search visibility of websites.
We begin with the problem, understand how the current process works and recommend a practical solution based on value, risk and long-term maintainability.

What does AUTOSCRIPTX do?
AUTOSCRIPTX is a South African software development, business automation and SEO consultancy. We build custom desktop, web and mobile systems, automate repetitive workflows, connect business platforms and improve website structure, crawlability, content and organic search performance.
THREE CONNECTED DISCIPLINES
The right solution depends on the problem
A business may need a new system, a better connection between existing tools or a stronger website structure. AUTOSCRIPTX evaluates the underlying problem before deciding which technology or approach is appropriate.
01 — BUILD
Custom software
Purpose-built desktop, web and mobile systems for workflows, requirements and business rules that generic platforms cannot support properly.
02 — AUTOMATE
Automation and integration
Reduce repetitive work and connect data, platforms and processes so that information moves accurately without unnecessary manual intervention.
03 — IMPROVE
SEO and website performance
Improve website structure, crawlability, content and search visibility while addressing the technical issues that restrict long-term organic performance.
SELECTED PROJECT RESULTS
Real problems. Measurable improvements.
Every project begins with a specific operational challenge. These examples show how the problem was approached and what changed once the solution was introduced.
CASE 01 · CUSTOM SOFTWARE & AUTOMATION
Automating a daily multi-supplier pricing workflow
A growing product catalogue and dozens of differently formatted supplier files turned daily pricing preparation into a time-consuming process that had to be completed before business opened.
The challenge
The client received more than 50 supplier pricing and inventory files in different formats. The information had to be cleaned, compared and reviewed manually, while exact product-identifier matching limited the accuracy of applying supplier pricing.
What changed
AUTOSCRIPTX developed an automated data-processing PIM that formats and centralises the supplier information, maps differing supplier SKUs, imports supplier feeds from exchange and API feeds, compares pricing and stock daily, and prepares the product catalogue for controlled review.
The result
60+
Supplier files formatted and centralised
±10,000
Products accommodated by the pricing catalogue
±2.15 hours
Daily preparation and review, reduced from approximately 2½ hours to 15 mins
±95%
Pricing-match accuracy after supplier SKU mapping
CASE 02 · CUSTOM SOFTWARE & AUTOMATION
Developing Windows-based Image Converter
Publishing large product updates required hundreds of images to be resized, optimised and converted before they could be added to the client’s WooCommerce catalogue
The challenge
The client needed to prepare more than 400 product images each month. Editing every image individually made catalogue updates slow and inconsistent, while WooCommerce required suitable dimensions, file sizes and formats.
What changed
AUTOSCRIPTX developed a custom Python desktop application that processes product images in batches from a CSV file. The application resizes and compresses images, converts them to formats such as WebP, preserves their aspect ratio or applies square padding, and can upload the completed files to Cloudinary for URL retrieval.
The result
400+
Product images prepared during monthly catalogue updates
1 CSV
Used to control an entire batch-processing workflow
Multiple formats
Images converted to JPG, PNG or WebP from any image format as required
Consistent output
Uniform dimensions, compression and presentation across the catalogue
BEYOND THE DEMONSTRATION
Working software is only the beginning
A feature can work perfectly in a demonstration and still fail under real users, unexpected data, changing requirements or production conditions. Dependable solutions must account for what happens beyond the expected path.
NOT ONLY
Complete the expected task
It should also handle incorrect information, unusual conditions and failures safely.
NOT ONLY
Work during a demonstration
It should also perform with realistic users, devices, permissions and data volumes.
NOT ONLY
Connect to another platform
It should also validate, record and reconcile the information moving between systems.
NOT ONLY
Launch successfully
It should also be maintainable, recoverable and transferable after delivery.
When does a business need a different approach?
The correct solution depends on the process, the people using it, the systems involved and the result the business needs to achieve.
When should a business consider custom software?
Custom software becomes worth considering when important work depends on repeated workarounds, generic platforms cannot support essential business rules or several disconnected tools are required to complete one process. The decision should be based on operational value rather than novelty.
Which business processes are suitable for automation?
Processes are strong automation candidates when they are repeated frequently, follow identifiable rules and consume significant time or introduce avoidable errors. Reporting, data imports, pricing updates, document generation and scheduled processing are common examples.
What does technical SEO improve?
Technical SEO helps search engines crawl, interpret and index a website correctly. It can include website architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, redirects, performance, structured data and the removal or consolidation of low-value URL structures.
Can software, automation and SEO form part of the same project?
Yes. An ecommerce project may involve a custom internal system, automated product synchronisation and improvements to the website’s search structure. These areas often work together because operational data, website functionality and organic visibility are connected.
